DiskSphere
The sphere Doc was born from. A map of your disk: every dot is a file, every colour a folder. See where your disk went — then pick what to clear.
- A Rust scanner, not a script: your whole disk, fast.
- Seven 3D shapes, a sunburst, a treemap: the same files, nine maps.
- Search by name, jump to Finder, trash from inside.
- Every suggestion tells you why. Fixed rules, no AI, nothing leaves your Mac.

Buy — €3

In plain words
What is Doc the Brain?
Doc is a second brain: a running system that keeps one person's files, ideas and money in one place, drawn as a brain made of glowing points. Alberto, a researcher in Italy, builds it and shows the work on the YouTube channel Doc the Brain.
What is DiskSphere?
DiskSphere is the Mac app Doc was born from. It scans a disk or a folder and draws every file as a point on a 3D sphere, so you can see where your space went. It costs €3, one-time.
What DiskSphere does
- Scans a whole disk or one folder with a scanner written in Rust.
- Shows the same files as seven 3D shapes: full sphere, sphere, disk, islands, time, orbit and galaxy.
- Shows them in 2D too: a sunburst chart and a treemap.
- Finds a file by name and shows it in Finder.
- Moves what you choose to the Trash, so you can put it back.
- “Quick space” lists what could go, by fixed rules on name, size and date. You check every item.
- Works on your Mac only: no data leaves the computer.
Price and requirements
€3, one-time purchase, no subscription. For macOS 15 or later, Apple silicon and Intel. Notarized by Apple. A Windows version is planned.

Which Macs does it run on?

Does DiskSphere send my files anywhere?
No. The scan runs on your Mac and no data leaves the computer.
