Questions

What is DiskSphere?

DiskSphere is a Mac app that scans a disk or a folder and draws every file as a point on a 3D sphere. You see where your space went, find the big folders and move them to the Trash.

How much does DiskSphere cost?

€3, paid once, no subscription. You pay on this site through Stripe and download the app for macOS 15 or later. If it is not for you, you get a refund within 14 days: see Refunds.

Which Macs does it run on?

Macs with Apple silicon and Macs with Intel. The app is notarized by Apple.

Does DiskSphere send my files anywhere?

No. The scan runs on your Mac and no data leaves the computer.

Does DiskSphere delete files?

It moves the items you choose to the Trash. While they are there you can put them back from Finder. It refuses to move system folders, your home folder and its Library.

How is it different from a treemap app?

DiskSphere has a treemap and a sunburst chart too. It adds a 3D view: the same files as a sphere, a disk, islands, a timeline, an orbit or a galaxy.

Is there a Windows version?

Not yet. A Windows version is planned.
