DiskSphere and the other disk maps for Mac

Several Mac apps show what fills your disk, and some of them are free. This page says what each one costs and how it draws your files, so you can pick the right one. Prices were read on the apps' own pages on 29 September 2026 (US store).

When a free app is enough

If you want one treemap and nothing else, GrandPerspective does that for free when you download it from its own site. OmniDiskSweeper shows a plain list sorted by size; check its page for the current terms. Start there if a list or one map answers your question.

When DiskSphere is the right pick

Pick DiskSphere if you want to see your disk in 3D, or if you want the sunburst chart and the treemap in the same app. It also searches files by name and lists what could go to the Trash, for €3, one-time.

What DiskSphere does not do

DiskSphere runs on macOS only. A Windows version is planned, not available yet.
