Requirements
macOS 15 or later, on a Mac with Apple silicon or Intel. The app is notarized by Apple.
Installing
- Open the DiskSphere disk image you downloaded after the payment.
- Drag DiskSphere into the Applications folder.
- Open DiskSphere from Applications.
Full Disk Access
macOS hides some folders from apps until you allow them. To measure the whole disk, open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Full Disk Access and turn on DiskSphere, then reopen the app. Without it, macOS hides some folders and the map is smaller than your disk.
Getting a file back from the Trash
DiskSphere moves the items you confirm to the Trash. To get one back, open the Trash from the Dock, select the item and choose File › Put Back. This works until you empty the Trash.
I lost the download
Write to us from the email you used to pay, and you get the link again.
Removing the app
Drag DiskSphere to the Trash. Its settings are in ~/Library/Application Support/com.docthebrain.disksphere/: delete that folder too if you want nothing left.
